OUR PHILOSOPHY

2

Irish Endocrinologist John O’Dea has been treating transgendered patients in Los Angeles for more than twenty years, as well as a wide range of hormone-driven problems, particularly emotional ones, in men and women. His innovative approach has been to harness the non-sexual effects of sex hormones, particularly their influences on the brain so as to enhance the treatment of emotional illness while reducing the mind-numbing impact of heavy handed psychiatric drug therapy on the mind. In the transgender arena he believes that transsexuality is wired rather than psychological, can only be self-diagnosed, and that gender changes cannot be put on and taken off superficially like an overcoat, but must come from the inside out. He calls this natural process “fractal femininity”. Discarding traditional methods based on archaic hormonal therapies for the menopause such as oral horse estrogens, Dr. O’Dea has redesigned feminization therapy for the M2F transsexual from the ground up so as to be safer, more effective and more user-friendly. In his hands modern non-oral forms of hormone therapy speed feminization ten-fold while at the same time greatly reducing risks and side-effects. An expert in the field of hormones as they effect brain and therefore mind, he has found ways to rapidly feminize his patients without exposing them to the hormone-driven emotional problems so common to the transsexual.

Service for T Girls, She Males & Post Op Trans Women

Our Goal

Our goal is to safely and effectively satisfy the needs of our transgendered patients.  These needs differ from patient to patient.  Some T-girls want their penises to disappear while others are tops and want the penis not only to stay, but to work effectively.  We can deliver a faster, safer and more natural road to feminization, without destroying penile function.  We serve both tops and bottoms without bias, helping our patients to preserve or eliminate function, whichever is their preference.

Our Results

For both the trans-patient and for those who admire and desire her, plastic surgery and silicone injections offer only a superficial veneer of femininity that simply doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.  And what may pass well enough in an airbrushed photograph just doesn’t cut it in the flesh.  The elite transsexual must look, sound, smell and feel feminine, no matter how hard she remains below.  In other words femininity cannot be put on like an overcoat, it must come from the inside and work its way to the surface.  That is where we come in.
